On a phone you can shake to roll instead. It is free, needs no account, shows no ads — and once loaded it keeps working offline, which is handy when the game night is somewhere with bad signal.
How it works
- Choose how many dice to roll (1–6).
- Pick the die type — the classic D6, or polyhedral D4, D8, D10, D12 and D20.
- Tap the screen or shake your phone. The total is worked out for you.
Which die for what?
The number after the D is simply the number of faces, so a D20 is the twenty-sided one. German and Polish players write W20 and K20 for the same die.

A dice roller for D&D and tabletop nights
Dungeons & Dragons and most tabletop RPGs run on the polyhedral set, and this roller covers it: D4, D6, D8, D10, D12 and D20, up to six dice at once, which is enough for the damage rolls most sessions ask for. It is a plain roller rather than a character sheet — there is no percentile D100 and no dice notation like 3d6+2, so add modifiers yourself. What you get instead is a die that looks and settles like the real thing on any phone at the table.

Are the rolls actually random?
Yes. Every throw draws from the browser's random number generator, and the result is read off whichever face the die settles on — exactly like a real roll.
Can I use it for D&D?
Yes. The full polyhedral set is there — D4, D6, D8, D10, D12 and D20 — and you can roll up to six at a time. There is no D100 and no dice notation with modifiers, so it is a roller rather than a character sheet.
Can I roll two dice at once?
Yes, up to six. With more than one die the app also shows the combined total — useful for board games that call for 2D6.
Does it work on a phone and offline?
Yes. DICING.APP is a web app (PWA): once loaded it runs without internet, and "Add to home screen" makes it behave like a native app. On a phone you can shake to roll.
